Frequently asked questions

Points and tier qualifications

What you’ll be paid is based on how long you drive during a ride (time), how far you drive during a ride (distance), 100% of what passengers tip you (tips), and bonuses you make (bonuses). The biggest part of your earnings will be from the time and distance driven with your passenger in the car, plus you get all of your tips and bonuses.

Your base rate and minimum rate help establish a minimum amount for how much drivers might earn on a ride in your city — especially on short rides. These rates may differ from city to city, and some cities may not have a base rate. If you have these rates in your ‘rate card,’ here’s what it means: Your ‘base rate’ is what you earn by starting a ride. Your ‘minimum rate’ is the minimum fare you’ll make on a ride. You may also see a ‘maximum rate,’ which is the maximum fare you can receive for a ride. You can always see these rates in your ‘rate card.’

Bonuses are generally available when more passengers need rides, and more drivers are needed on the road. So, you’re more likely to earn bonuses during busy times, in busy locations.

Once you are a driver, all you have to do is log in with your email and password and connect. You’ll quickly start to receive ride requests from the passengers closest to your position, and you’ll be clearly shown the points of origin and destination to which you have to go.
